About the Artwork
“Valentine’s Day is often an excuse for me to pause my busy life and do something creative. This was a Valentine’s Day card I made for my husband, who was in his cardiology/electrophysiology fellowship training. It was a fun way to combine my medical background, my love for my husband, and my creativity, and also to use the heart’s rhythms as a metaphor for love and the rhythms of a relationship over time.”
Jessica Faraci is a wife, a mom and a family doctor in New England. “I don’t have much spare time as a primary-care physician and mother of four kids, but when I do find time, I very much enjoy creative outlets such as writing and drawing.”
