About the Artwork
“This photo was taken ten years ago at the beach near our house. Three very gaunt young men were wandering about, looking fruitlessly in food bins. This is like the many starving people in Gaza, in Ukraine and our own streets. Sometimes there is nothing to find, despite the endless search: images that burn themselves into our consciousness.”
Pris Campbell enjoys photography in her spare time. A longtime Pulse contributor, she is also a writer and a former clinical psychologist, sidelined by chronic fatigue syndrome since her late forties.
