About the Artwork
“I live on the Chesapeake Bay and frequently have the opportunity to capture with my camera lens the tranquility and beauty of my surroundings. One early morning in Annapolis, I found this peaceful scene where the line between reality and reflection was lost in the fog.”
Shortly after retiring from a long career in the news business, Anne Delano Weathersby received a difficult cancer diagnosis. It would change the course of her retirement and her outlook on life. After surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, she changed her daily routine. “I became involved in as many ‘healthy’ activities as I could, including meditation, yoga and especially photography.”
