About the Artwork
“This an edited photograph of a friend whom I had not seen for more than six months due to COVID-19, and who had dyed her hair within that time. Although the reunion was heartfelt, and the hair much of a surprise, neither of us could deny the sobering circumstances that still enveloped us. This picture captures my feelings of uncertainty.”
Krusang Patel, a third-year medical student at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, has a love for photography and digital art.
