Ortho Call Room

“I took this photo with my phone when I walked by the shared workspace of the residents and physician assistants working in pediatric orthopedics. I was struck by the air mattress in the middle of the floor and by the realization that this is their ‘call room.’ Even more striking to me is the knowledge that this work/sleep space used to be the private office of the hospital’s former CEO.”
