Oh! This one reminded me of my grandmother, Pris. I imagine there would be a hint of roses, or some of the other flowers, that she loved to grow in her little garden if she paid a visit now. Beautiful.

I’ve been an ardent fan of Pris’ poetry since 2006. Her ability to capture a moment is wonderful and this haiku is a perfect example of that! It’s poignant and lovely!
