Just Waiting for the Doc

“Due to my son’s neurofibromatosis diagnosis, we see quite a few specialists. Oftentimes, there can be long wait times during the various appointments and exams. I did this monotype of my son after a sketch I had done while we both waited in the examination room. We had been there long enough that he went ahead and lay back onto the examination table and was looking at his phone with his feet dangling off the edge–simultaneously comfortable yet awkward.”
