This hits hard – a friend of mine died on Boxing Day 🙁
A hospital staff left the wheelchair by the window to be seen easily on a rainy evening.
There are two possible interpretations of this haiku.
1. The empty wheelchair implies a patient has died and the rain implies sad tears.
2. The empty wheelchair implies a patient has gone home and the rain implies
happy tears.
A well-written haiku can encompass difference experiences for different readers.
In trying to correct my email address I accidentally posted the same thing twice. It must be fate since I love this.
This is both stunning and moving.
