  1. When my mother was in Hospice, workers there brought around afternoon snacks for family gathered there. They gave respite at a hard time. In this wonderful haiku, the caregiver is getting something sweet in the way most convenient.

    1. Ah, dear Pris, thanks for your comment. Yes we look for sweetness or we try and give sweetness even when things seem grim.
