About the Artwork
- “After weeks of quarantine and socializing only via Zoom, this photo was taken when we were finally able to enjoy a tranquil walk along the Hudson with good friends. Shortly afterwards, the focus of the world shifted to the continual injustices suffered by people of color in our country.”
- Lisa Baron is a family physician in the Bronx who lives with her husband, Rick, a VA psychologist, and (for now, anyway) their two children. “I am by no stretch of the imagination an artist, but I’ve always enjoyed photography.”
