About the Artwork
“My COVID Mask represents an artistic reflection on the pandemic: Many questions. Many answers. Dark clouds and emerging sun. The pandemic has impacted us all in different ways, casting into sharp relief issues of justice and equality, particularly in the arena of health care.”

Stephens is professor of family and community medicine, and professor of humanities and master educator for the Penn State College of Medicine University Park Regional Campus, in State College, PA. He received his undergraduate degree in liberal arts from Pennsylvania State University, and his MD from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Hello Mark,
I can see that the passage of time has only enhanced your insight and ability to convey a message clearly. I think we all have worn some form of mask as we are dealing with what this pandemic has driven home about out society and profession. Thank you for this and most importantly, stay the man I know behind the mask.
