“I created this image as part of a series about the perceptions of women in our culture. This particular work represents the sense of community and support women that create for each other when one of us is going through a difficult time.”
Johanna Siegmann is an award-winning international photographer specializing in portraiture. Her passion project is people with their pets; her book, In Good Company (Notable People with their Pets) is due out for publication on February 20, Love Your Pet Day.
