Hannah is a second-year medical student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. Her commitment to global health began while working as an undergraduate with Universities Allied for Essential Medicines. It has since taken her around the world–in 2013 to Geneva, Switzerland, as a participant in the World Health Assembly, and more recently to Uganda, with Doctors for Global Health, where she worked to expand village health worker and community nutrition programs. She is passionate about women’s health and family planning.

Erin O’Branski is a physician assistant practicing in hematology-oncology at the Duke Cancer Institute in Durham, NC. George Thaddeus Saj is a New Jersey artist who lives and works in Montclair, where he practiced surgery for thirty-one years. His formal art education started at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts and continued at Dartmouth College. However, having always planned to be a doctor like his father, he enrolled in the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. After residency training and service as a staff surgeon at a U.S. Army hospital in Danang, Vietnam, he settled in New Jersey.

“I have always been interested in art. I chose nursing as a vocation, but my interest in art continued to grow, in fits and starts, during my forty-five years in health care.
