  1. Such a ring of authenticity in Pris Campbell’s haiku. As one who has spent a fair bit of time at deathbeds, I have seen this pre-planning going on, and hoped the person on the bed couldn’t hear them. Of course, I may not be reading this poem as the author intended, but it certain relates to my own experiences witnessed during visiting hours.

  2. Again, Pris gives us a view of something others may not notice – or say. Thank you Pris for sharing your talent – even if the situation is often all too true.

    1. A powerful evocation all summed up in three short lines. Pris, your body may be – like mine – racked with pain and pretty useless but your inventive mind is as keen as ever!
